Spotify wanted to bring together users and artists closer to their communities.
Therefore, through archived music and audio, we used AI to recreate the voices and songs of Afghan musicians who were tragically killed and silenced by the Taliban regime, to raise aw areness globally.
Being Afghanistan the only country in the world where music was banned, since the Taliban regained control in 2021. Our idea was to through archived music and audio, we used AI to recreate the voices & songs of Afghan musicians who were tragically killed and silenced by the Taliban regime, to never let the Afghan music die.
